Radiator, Engine Cooling: Installation: Diesel

- Install the charge air cooler (2) to the radiator. Be sure the clips snap into place (1, 3).
- Install the A/C condenser to the radiator. Be sure the clips snap into place.
- Be sure the air seal is in position before radiator is installed.
Slide the cooling module (radiator, A/C condenser and charge air cooler) down into position as an assembly. Seat the radiator with the rubber isolators into the mounting holes provided, with a 10 lbs. force. Care should be taken not to damage radiator cooling fins or water tubes during installation.
- Connect the transmission oil cooling lines at the cooler.
- Install the A/C lines at the condenser. Refer to LINE, A/C DISCHARGE, INSTALLATION
, LINE, A/C LIQUID, INSTALLATION
and LINE, A/C SUCTION, INSTALLATION
.
- Install the radiator fan module. Refer to FAN, COOLING, INSTALLATION .
- Install the radiator upper crossmember support. Refer to CROSSMEMBER, RADIATOR, INSTALLATION

- Connect the coolant bypass hose at the radiator.
- Connect the upper radiator hose at the radiator.
- Install the front fascia. Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, INSTALLATION

- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Install the hoses to the charge air cooler.
- Install the lower radiator hose at the radiator.
- Install the lower support to front fascia pushpins.
- If equipped, connect the fog lamp connectors to the fascia.
- Install the left inner splash shield.
- Install the right inner splash shield.
- If equipped, install the belly pan to the vehicle.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Recharge the A/C system with refrigerant.
- Fill the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Connect the negative cable to battery.
