NOTE:
In addition to the Universal Transmitter operation the Electronic Overhead Module is responsible for some of the compass functions. Anytime the Electronic Overhead Module is replaced the compass variance must be set, and the manual compass calibration performed, for more information. Refer to MODULE, COMPASS, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Position the universal transmitter onto the overhead console assembly and install the retaining screws (2).
- Install the overhead console assembly. Refer to CONSOLE, OVERHEAD, FRONT, INSTALLATION .
- Connect the battery negative cable.
- Program the universal transmitter codes. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
