Removal And Installation: Installation
CAUTION:
To prevent damage, the power cord must be secured in it's retaining clips, and not positioned so it could contact linkages or exhaust manifold.
- Thoroughly clean the engine block heater bore.
- Install the engine block heater (2) and the retainer clip (1). Make sure retaining clip (1) is engaged.
- Connect the power cord (3) to the engine block heater.
- Secure the power cord to the upper radiator inlet hose.
- Secure the power cord (1) to the PCM mounting bracket (2).
- Secure the power cord (1) to the upper radiator core support (3).
- Install the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
