Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Service and Repair

On 4-151 engines, the coolant temperature switch, or sensor is located at the rear of the cylinder block.
1. Disconnect wire connector.
2. Remove switch.
3. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten switch to 72 inch lbs.
