Engine Control Module: Service and Repair

The microprocessor unit is located in the passenger compartment on the right hand side behind the kick panel.

1. Remove MCU attaching bolts.
2. Disconnect harness connectors. Make sure that connector terminals are not forced out of position or bent when reconnecting connector.
3. Reverse procedure to install. The ECM bracket is insulated from the vehicle. Do not ground it.
