Engine Control Module: Testing and Inspection

1. Inspect ECU harness for bent, broken or missing pins.
2. Inspect and clean ECU harness connector and ECU pins for dirt and corrosion; clean with contact cleaner.
3. Check component connections. Unplug and replug connector.
4. Retest system after performing above inspection. If vehicle has same message replace ECU.
