Removal (1.8L)

Remove spark plug wires and distributor cap. Disconnect distributor electrical connector. Rotate crankshaft clockwise until piston No. 1 is at TDC of compression stroke. Ensure timing marks are aligned. Mark distributor rotor to distributor housing for installation reference. Remove distributor bolt and distributor.
