Test 41A - Repairing One Inoperative Courtesy Lamp

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagrams, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform TEST VER-1 after each repair.

Remove inoperative courtesy lamp. If lamp is open, replace lamp. If lamp is okay, disconnect inoperative lamp assembly. Using DRB in voltmeter mode, check voltage on lamp assembly connector (Pink wire). If voltage is more than 10 volts, repair open ground circuit for inoperative lamp assembly. If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair open Pink wire.
