Removal & Installation (FWD Models)

  1. Release fuel system pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE  under FUEL SYSTEM.
  2. Fuel pump is located at passenger's side front corner of fuel tank. Disconnect fuel pump electrical connector and fuel lines from fuel pump.
  3. Remove fuel pump retaining nuts and fuel pump from fuel tank. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten fuel pump retaining nuts and high pressure fuel line nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
