Test No. 15: Park/Neutral Position (PNP) Switch Input Circuit Check, For Input Switch Inspection Code 26

Test PNP switch. See PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION (PNP) SWITCH  under TESTING. Replace PNP switch if defective. If PNP switch is okay, check starter relay. See STARTER article. If PNP switch and starter relay are okay, check wiring, connectors between speed control ECM and power source. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Repair or replace as necessary.
