Speed Control Main Switch Circuit Malfunction
- Check operation of speed control main switch. See SPEED CONTROL SWITCHES under TESTING. Replace switch as necessary. If main switch operates properly, turn ignition off. Disconnect 8-pin main switch harness connector. Turn ignition on. Using a voltmeter, check voltage between ground and main switch harness connector terminal No. 1 (Black/White wire). Battery voltage should exist.
- If battery voltage exists, go to step 3). If battery voltage does not exist, check Black/White wire, connectors and harness between main switch and power supply. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair or replace as necessary.
- Check wires, connectors and harness between speed control main switch and ground and between speed control main switch and speed control ECM. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Repair or replace as necessary.
