Removal & Installation

  1. Fuel pump module is located at passenger's side front corner of fuel tank. See Figure . Release fuel pressure from fuel system. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE under FUEL SYSTEM. Remove fuel tank cap to release any residual fuel tank pressure.
  2. Remove rear seat cushion and cover for access to fuel pump module. Disconnect fuel lines and electrical connector at fuel pump module. Remove retaining nuts and fuel pump module.
  3. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten retaining nuts and high pressure fuel line-to-fuel pump module nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS.
