Fuel Injector Resistor

  1. Fuel injector resistor is located near throttle body and contains a 6-pin Black connector. See Fig 1 . Disconnect connector at fuel injector resistor.
  2. Using ohmmeter, check resistance between terminals No. 1 and 3, 3 and 4, 3 and 5, and 3 and 6 on connector for fuel injector resistor connector. See Fig 2 .
  3. Resistance should be 5.5-6.5 ohms at 68°F (20°C). Replace fuel injector resistor if resistance is not within specification.
