NOTE: The spark plug tube is pre-treated with sealant (1), therefore it must be replaced each time it is removed. Do not add any additional sealant to the threads.






1. Position the spark plug tube (2) into the cylinder head. Using the (10280) (1), tighten the tube to 41 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).





2. If required, install a new spark plug tube seal (1).
3. Install the cylinder head cover Cylinder Head Cover(s) - Installation.Connect the negative battery cable and tighten nut to 5 Nm (45 in. lbs.).
