Diagnostic Test
VERIFY THE DTC IS ACTIVE
- Ignition on, engine not running.
- With the scan tool, read the DTCs.
Is the DTC Active at this time?
Yes
- Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) - DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX - 500 - EXCEPT ELECTRIC and perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure.
No
- Refer to COMMUNICATION - NON-DTC BASED DIAGNOSTICS - 500 - EXCEPT ELECTRIC and perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCs diagnostic procedure.
