Set Condition
- The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects a short to ground on the (K89) O2 Sensor 1/1 Positive Current Control circuit.
- After the first fault is detected the sensor is shutdown and re-initialized which takes 9 seconds after which the test is repeated.
- A fault is set after the monitor runs and fails for 7 counts.
