Diagnostic Test

CARRY OUT THE RESTORE PROCEDURE FOR PASSIVE ENTRY NODE CONFIGURATION
1. Connect the scan tool to the Passive Entry Node and check whether the vehicle configuration resetting procedure has been carried out.
2. With the scan tool erase DTCs.
3. Wait 5 second intervals.
4. Check if the DTC is still present.
  Is the DTC still present?
  
  Yes
  - Carry out the vehicle configuration restoration procedure again.
  - Go to Step 2.
  No
  - Go to Step 4.
CHECK WHETHER THE STALK SWITCH LEFT LEVER AND THE WINDSCREEN WIPER LEVER HAVE BEEN INVERTED
1. Check the correct installation of the stalk switch left lever and windshield wiper lever.
  Have the stalk switch left lever and the windshield wiper lever been correctly installed?
  
  Yes
  - Go to Step 3.
  No
  - Correctly install the stalk switch left lever and the windshield wiper lever, then go to Step 4.
CHECK OPERATION OF THE WINDSHIELD WIPER LEVER
1. Check operation of the windshield wiper lever.
  Is the windshield wiper lever working?
  
  Yes
  - Go to Step 4.
  No
  - Replace the windshield wiper lever.
  - Go to Step 4.
CHECK THE CORRECT OPERATION OF THE PASSIVE ENTRY NODE
1. With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
2. Wait 5 second intervals.
3. Check if the DTC is still present.
  Is the DTC still present?
  
  Yes
  - Repeat the checks from Step 1 .
  - Replace the Passive Entry Node if the DTC occurs again.
  No
  - End of diagnosis.
