Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR PRESENCE OF ERRORS ON THE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS) MODULE CAN LINE
1. Connect the diagnosis equipment and check for the presence of errors.
  Are errors present?
  
  Yes
  - Move on to Step 2.
  No
  - Move on to Step 3.
CHECK FOR PRESENCE OF ERRORS ON CAN LINE FROM THE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING (EPS) MODULE TO OTHER MODULES
1. Check for presence of errors on CAN line from Electric Power Steering (EPS) Module to other modules.
  Are errors present?
  
  Yes
  - Replace the Electric Power Steering (EPS) Module in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to GEAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  No
  - Move on to Step 3.
CHECK CORRECT OPERATION OF THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) MODULE
1. Connect the diagnosis equipment and carry out the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) Module error deletion procedure.
2. Check whether the error is still present.
  Is the error is still present?
  
  Yes
  - Repeat the checks from Step 1 .
  - Replace the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) Module in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to MODULE, ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  No
  - End of diagnosis.
