Diagnostic Test

PERFORM THE RESTORE PROCEDURE FOR AIRBAG MODULE CONFIGURATION
1. Connect the diagnosis equipment to the Airbag Module and check whether the vehicle configuration resetting procedure has been carried out.
2. Perform the Instrument Panel Module error deletion procedure.
3. Check if the error is still present.
  Is the error still present?
  
  Yes
  - Go to Step 2.
  No
  - End of diagnosis.
CHECK INTEGRITY OF SEAT
1. Check integrity of seat.
  Is the seat wet?
  
  Yes
  - Dry the seat and check again for the presence of error, then go to Step 3.
  No
  - Go to Step 3.
CHECK INTEGRITY OF SEAT HEATING PAD
1. Check integrity of seat heating pad.
  Is the seat heating pad intact?
  
  Yes
  - Replace the seat heating pad.
  - After replacement, perform the occupant classification system sensor calibration and check for the error. If the error persists, go to Step 4.
  No
  - Go to Step 4.
CHECK INTEGRITY OF PASSENGER SEAT AND UNDERLYING FLOOR AREA
1. Go to Key-OFF status.
2. at least 1 minute.
3. Ensure correct movement of passenger side seat and condition of underlying floor.
  Are there any faults?
  
  Yes
  - Replace the seat heating pad.
  - After replacement, perform the occupant classification system sensor calibration and check for the error. If the error persists, go to Step 5.
  No
  - Go to Step 5.
CHECK CORRECT OPERATION OF OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM SENSOR
1. Replace the occupant classification system sensor.
2. Connect the negative battery lead.
3. Go to key-on condition (engine off or on).
4. After replacement, perform the occupant classification system sensor calibration.
5. Perform the Airbag Module error deletion procedure.
6. Check if the error is still present.
  Is the error still present?
  
  Yes
  - Replace the Occupant Classification System control unit.
  - Replace the Airbag Module if the error occurs again. Refer to MODULE, OCCUPANT RESTRAINT (ORC), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  No
  - End of diagnosis.
