  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the center bezel from the instrument panel. Refer to BEZEL, INSTRUMENT PANEL, CENTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Remove the two screws (1a) from the radio bezel (1b). Using trim stick C-4755 or equivalent around the perimeter of the bezel (1b), carefully remove the radio bezel from the instrument panel.

  4. Remove the four screws (1a) securing the radio (1b) to the instrument panel.

  5. Carefully pull the radio (1a) out of the instrument panel far enough to access the back of the radio.
  6. Disconnect the antenna cable (2), and radio wire harness connector (3b).
  7. If equipped, disconnect the USB connector (3a).
  8. Remove the radio from the instrument panel.
