Removal And Installation: Removal
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the center bezel from the instrument panel. Refer to BEZEL, INSTRUMENT PANEL, CENTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the two screws (1a) from the radio bezel (1b). Using trim stick C-4755 or equivalent around the perimeter of the bezel (1b), carefully remove the radio bezel from the instrument panel.
- Remove the four screws (1a) securing the radio (1b) to the instrument panel.
- Carefully pull the radio (1a) out of the instrument panel far enough to access the back of the radio.
- Disconnect the antenna cable (2), and radio wire harness connector (3b).
- If equipped, disconnect the USB connector (3a).
- Remove the radio from the instrument panel.
