Test Steps: Notes
Carefully perform the following test steps in sequence. The Key On Engine Running (KOER) test is intended to detect hard faults only, not intermittent faults.
- Visually check vehicle systems for a non-related fault, such as a disconnected vacuum hose, faulty spark plug, broken wire or weak electrical connection. Ensure engine cooling system is full. Warm engine to operating temperature.
