2.9L Engine
- On cylinder to be adjusted, position camshaft so base of the lobe is resting on the rocker arm to be checked. Loosen adjusting screws until a noticeable gap between rocker arm and valve tip is noticed.
- Valve lifter plunger should be fully extended under load of internal spring. Carefully screw in adjustment screws until rocker arms slightly touch the valve stem then turn adjusting screw in 1 1/2 turns.
