Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor

  1. Remove coolant temperature sensor. Place coolant temperature sensor in container of heated coolant with thermometer.
  2. Connect ohmmeter to coolant temperature sensor terminals. Note resistance at specified temperatures. See ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR RESISTANCE  . Replace if not within specification.
