Continuity Check

  1. Ensure ABS fail-safe relay is disconnected. Verify ignition is off.
  2. Set VOM on 20 k/ohm scale. Check resistance at ABS fail-safe relay between terminal "b" and terminal "c". Resistance should be greater than 10,000 ohms.
  3. Set VOM on 200 ohm scale. Check resistance at ABS fail-safe relay between terminal "b" and terminal "f". Resistance should be less than 5 ohms.
  4. If resistances are as specified, go to PINPOINT TEST FSR-8  . If resistances are not as specified, replace ABS fail-safe relay.
