Wheel Speed Sensor Signal Check

  1. Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect ABS control module connector. Set VOM on 5 volt scale. While rotating each wheel at 60 RPM, measure and record voltage at each of following wires at control module connector:
    • White and Red wires (Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor).
    • Yellow and Orange wires (Right Front Wheel Speed Sensor).
    • Yellow/Green and Yellow/Black wires (Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor).
    • Green/Black wires (Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor).
  2. If ALL voltage readings are .25-1.1 volts, go to PINPOINT TEST WSS-7  . If any voltage reading is not with specification, go to PINPOINT TEST WSS-6  .
