Upper Intake Manifold: Installation

Clean all gasket surfaces. Install new gasket on lower manifold assembly. Mount upper intake manifold to lower. Install manifold bolts and tighten to 15-22 ft. lbs. (20-30 N.m). Reconnect EGR tube. Tighten to 31-45 ft. lbs. (41-56 N.m). To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.



Ensure mounting faces are clean and flat. Position new gasket and install upper manifold with throttle body onto lower manifold. Install bolts and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
