Side Mirror Switch Test

Remove side mirror switch. See SIDE MIRROR SWITCH R & I  . Ensure switch is connected to harness connector. Using a voltmeter, check for specified voltage between specified wires. See appropriate MIRROR SWITCH TEST table. If switch fails any portion of test, replace switch.

LEFT MIRROR SWITCH TEST (1)

Switch Position (2) Battery Voltage (3) Ground
Up BRN LT GRN
Down LT GRN BRN
Left LT GRN BRN/YEL
Right BRN/YEL LT GRN
(1) See Fig 1 for connector terminal identification.
(2) 11-13 volts.
(3) 0-1 volt.
RIGHT MIRROR SWITCH TEST (1)

Switch Position (2) Battery Voltage (3) Ground
Up BRN LT GRN/BLK
Down LT GRN/BLK BRN
Left LT GRN/BLK BRN/BLK
Right BRN/BLK LT GRN/BLK
(1) See Fig 1 for connector terminal identification.
(2) 11-13 volts.
(3) 0-1 volt.
