Brake Signal: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the Brake On/Off (BOO) switch electrical connector.

2. Loosen the BOO switch locknut.

3. Remove the BOO switch from the brake pedal assembly.

INSTALLATION

1. Adjust the brake pedal height. Adjustments

2. Install the BOO switch in the brake pedal assembly.

3. Turn the BOO switch until it contacts the brake pedal, then turn it an additional half turn.

4. Tighten the BOO switch locknut to 14-17 Nm (10-13 lb ft).

5. Connect the BOO switch electrical connector.
