Crankshaft Position Sensor: Adjustments

1. Position Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor assembly on bracket. Install sensor retaining screws, DO NOT tighten.

2. Install CKP Sensor Gauge T89P-AH or equivalent to outside surface of one vane of shutter. Gauge is magnetic and will conform to the shape of the vane.

3. Rotate crankshaft by hand to align shutter vane with gauge into sensor air gap. Push sensor housing inward to contact gauge.
- Tighten screws to 22-31 lb. in. (2.5-3.5 Nm).

CAUTION: Over tightening can cause damage to timing sensor.

4. Rotate crankshaft by hand to position shutter vane with gauge outside of air gap. Remove magnetic gauge.
