Removal & Installation: Compressor: Installation

To install, reverse removal procedure. Before installing new compressor, add 3 ounces of clean refrigerant oil to new compressor. Evacuate and recharge A/C system.
CAUTION:
R-12 and R-134a components are not interchangeable. Mixing parts from the 2 systems may cause component failure and system damage. R-134a system uses a Gold colored A/C compressor clutch and Green "O" rings throughout.
