Pinpoint Test F - Steering Wheel Rotation Not Detected
- DTC 33; Check Circuit
Turn ignition off. Disconnect EVO control module 14-pin connector. Disconnect steering wheel rotation sensor connector. Measure resistance of Red/Yellow wire, Yellow/Black wire and Brown wire between EVO control module connector and steering wheel rotation sensor connector. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open or high resistance in circuit.
- Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between ground and Pink/Orange wire of steering wheel rotation sensor. If battery voltage is present, replace sensor. If battery voltage is not present, repair Pink/Orange wire circuit.
