Right Switch (Passenger Side) Test

Turn ignition off. Remove right switch, but leave electrical connector connected. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage at indicated switch terminals and positions. See RIGHT SWITCH TESTING  table. If voltage is as specified, go to appropriate procedure under TROUBLE SHOOTING  , if applicable. If voltage is not as specified, replace right switch.

RIGHT SWITCH TESTING (1)

Switch Position Red Wire Green Wire
Up 12 Volts 0 Volts
Down 0 Volts 12 Volts
(1) 12 volts=10-14 volts; 0 volts=0-1 volt.
