Ignition Cable: Testing and Inspection

Without removing the distributor to spark plug wires from the spark plugs or distributor cap, wipe the wires with a clean, damp cloth. Inspect them for visible damage such as cuts, pinches, cracks, or torn boots. Replace the wires that are damaged.
