All Power Windows Inoperative
- Fuse Check
Ensure ignition is off. Check POWER WINDOW (30-amp) fuse. If fuse is blown, go to next step. If fuse is okay, go to step 3).
- Circuit Check
Access and disconnect 16-pin master power window switch connector. Locate and disconnect 5-pin one-touch module connector. Measure resistance between output side of POWER WINDOW (30-amp) fuse at interior fuse junction panel connector and ground. If resistance is greater than 10 k/ohms, go to next step. If resistance is less than 10 k/ohms, repair Black/White wire.
- Check Power Supply
Turn ignition off. Access and unplug 16-pin power window master switch connector. Measure voltage between power window master switch connector Black/White wire terminal and ground. If voltage is greater than 10 volts, go to next step. If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair Black/White wire. Retest system.
- Power Window Master Switch Check
Perform master switch test. See MASTER SWITCH under COMPONENT TESTING. If master switch is good, repair Black wire between power window master switch and ground. If master switch is faulty, replace switch and retest system.
