Pinpoint Test C: No Communication With The Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) Module

C1 CHECK THE VOLTAGE SUPPLY TO THE RKE
- Key in OFF position.
- Disconnect: Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) Module C386.
- Key in ON position.
- Measure the voltage between the RKE module C4071-11, circuit 29-AA17 (OG/WH), harness side and ground.

- Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
- Yes : GO to C2.
- No : No REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
C2 CHECK CIRCUITS 31-AA17 (BK/WH) FOR AN OPEN
- Key in OFF position.
- Measure the resistance between the RKE module C4071-8, circuit 31-AA17 (BK/WH) harness side and ground

- Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
- Yes : REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK .
- No : REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
