Removal And Installation: Generator: Removal
- Disconnect the battery. For additional information, refer to
BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES
.
- Remove the accessory drive belt. For additional information, refer to
ACCESSORY DRIVE
.
- Remove the generator B+ terminal protective cover and nut. Position the generator B+ terminal aside.
- Disconnect the generator electrical connector.
- Detach the upper degas bottle hose from the fuel rail and position aside.
- Remove the generator nut and the stud bolt.
- Remove the upper and lower generator bolts.
- Remove the generator.
