Body Control Module (BCM)

The BCM  is the master module in control of the power door lock system. It is responsible for determining if the doors should be locked or unlocked, and releasing the liftgate or luggage compartment lid. The BCM  receives direct input from the door lock control switch. It receives passive key data and RKE  commands from the RFA  module over Medium Speed Controller Area Network (MS-CAN).
