Removal and Installation

Without navigation 

    NOTE: Module configuration is required when a new Front Display Interface Module (FDIM) is being installed.
  1. Upload the FDIM configuration information to the scan tool. For additional information, refer to Programmable Module Installation (PMI) in MODULE CONFIGURATION .
  2. Remove the mat, the 2 screws, and the instrument panel upper bin.

    With navigation 

  3. Remove the Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM). For additional information, refer to FRONT CONTROLS INTERFACE MODULE (FCIM)  .

    All vehicles 

  4. Remove the 4 screws and the FDIM.
    • Disconnect the electrical connector(s).
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • For vehicles without navigation:

      Download the configuration information to the FDIM. For additional information, refer to PMI in MODULE CONFIGURATION .
