Removal and Installation

Without navigation
- Upload the FDIM configuration information to the scan tool. For additional information, refer to Programmable Module Installation (PMI) in MODULE CONFIGURATION .
- Remove the mat, the 2 screws, and the instrument panel upper bin.
With navigation
- Remove the Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM). For additional information, refer to FRONT CONTROLS INTERFACE MODULE (FCIM)

All vehicles
- Remove the 4 screws and the FDIM.
- Disconnect the electrical connector(s).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Download the configuration information to the FDIM. For additional information, refer to PMI in MODULE CONFIGURATION .

Module configuration is required when a new Front Display Interface Module (FDIM) is being installed.
