Transmission Range (TR) Sensor

The TR  sensor is located inside of the transmission and indicates gearshift position to the PCM  . The PCM  uses that information to enable the starting system to start the engine in PARK or NEUTRAL. For vehicles with 6F35 Refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION - 6F35 . For vehicles with 6F50 or 6F55 Refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION - 6F50/6F55 .
