DTC U045A: Invalid Data Received From Parking Assist Control Module A: Action

CARRY OUT a self-test of the BCM. If the diagnostic scan tool indicates the module is not responding, REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK (EXCEPT HYBRID/ENERGI) to diagnose the network communication concern. If BCM DTCs are present, REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES (EXCEPT HYBRID/ENERGI) to diagnose the BCM system fault. If there are no DTCs in the BCM, SET the ignition to OFF.

DISCONNECT and INSPECT all BCM electrical connectors and related inline connectors for corrosion, bent pins, pushed-out pins and spread terminals. REPAIR as necessary.
