These vehicles use 2 types of clutches, either coil spring design or diaphragm spring design. Mechanical linkage is used to actuate clutch.

Coil spring single plate clutch is dry-disc type with no wear adjustment provided in clutch itself. Coil spring clutch uses 3 release levers for pressure plate actuation and coil springs for pressure plate tension.

Diaphragm spring clutch uses single, slotted diaphragm type spring for both pressure plate action and tension.
