Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) Buffer

The vehicle speed sensor (VSS) buffer receives a signal from the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) (permanent magnet generator) indicating the speed of the vehicle. This signal is then processed by the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) buffer and supplied to the engine control module (ECM), the cruise control module and speedometer.
