Code 41, 1X Signal Error: Notes
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1995 GMC Sonoma and 1995 Chevrolet S10 Pickup. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
The ignition module processes 1X signal and sends it to control module for alternate synchronous double firing of injector. This is done for cleaner emissions. Loss of 1X signal will cause simultaneous synchronous double firing of injectors and setting of Code 41.
NOTE:
Test numbers refer to test numbers on diagnostic chart.
- Determines if codes is a hard failure or an intermittent condition.
