Water-In-Fuel Warning Light

Turn ignition on. The water-in-fuel light on instrument panel should come on for about 2 seconds (bulb check), then go out. If light stays on when ignition is on, the fuel filter/water separator contains excessive water. To drain water, push drain valve upward (drain valve is located on bottom of fuel filter/water separator). See Figure .
