Powertrain Control Module: Notes

NOTE:
Components are grouped into 2 categories. The first category covers INPUT DEVICES
, which control or produce voltage signals monitored by the PCM. The second category covers OUTPUT SIGNALS
, which are components controlled by the PCM.
On Alero & Grand Am, the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) is located is located behind left kickpanel. On Impala & Monte Carlo, the PCM is located on shelf, to left of right front strut tower. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - 3.4L ALERO, GRAND AM, IMPALA & MONTE CARLO article.
