Removal & Installation

  1. Remove the mounting bolt that attaches the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) outlet pipe flange to the intake manifold. See Fig 1.
  2. Remove the nut that attaches the EGR outlet pipe to the EGR valve inlet pipe assembly. Remove the EGR valve outlet pipe. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten the EGR valve outlet pipe bolt/nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
