Diagnostic Aids

DTC will set if control circuit or ignition feed circuit is open. A no start condition will also exist. Scan tool has capability to turn ESO solenoid on and off. This can be a quick operational check of solenoid.

Check for intermittent problems (i.e., poor connections, rubbed through wire insulation or broken wire inside its insulation). See appropriate TROUBLE SHOOTING - NO CODES article.
