Starter Motor: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery negative cable. Remove the vacuum brake booster hose.
  2. Remove the battery positive lead from the solenoid. See Fig 1 . Remove the starter solenoid S-terminal lead nut from the solenoid. See Fig 2 . Remove the starter solenoid S-terminal lead from the solenoid.
  3. Remove the starter mount bolt and nut. Remove the starter motor. See Fig 3 .
