Shift Lock Solenoid (Column Shift)

NOTE: Floor shift models are not adjustable.

NOTE: This procedure is accomplished with all necessary trim removed. For additional information, see appropriate procedure under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION .

Shift lock solenoid is located on steering column. See Fig 1-Fig 3 . Pull locking tab outward from adjusting block. See Fig 4. Press on adjusting block to disengage adjusting teeth. Slide adjuster block as far away from actuator as possible. Lock adjuster block in place by pushing inward on tab. Ensure proper system operation.
