Powertrain Control Module: Installation

Connect harness connectors to PCM. Tighten PCM harness connector fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Slide PCM retainer into PCM bracket slots. Pull the PCM retention bar into position. Reconnect negative battery cable. If NEW PCM has been installed, PCM MUST be programmed. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION.
